有一种美呼唤着灵魂超越自身，去感受一个更高尚更朴实的生活。就像生长在荒芜辽阔的西藏山坡上的小野花，在寒冷恶劣的环境下，它竟然敢于傲然生长。拔掉它迁移到一个城市花园，它却黯然枯萎了。放任它生长在山野里，任凭风吹日晒，它含情绽放。这对我们大家来说是一个启示。

野花，娇嫩然而适应力极强。它首先捕获我的想象力，然后是我的镜头。一旦我开始攀爬拉萨附近的山,我就体会到令人振奋的喜悦不仅在遥远的风景里,也在我身边盛开的小花朵中。而且，我一旦开始，就不能停止脚步，我不得不继续攀登，不得不继续拍摄。我不能忍受放弃我徒步爬山而周末参加一些平淡无奇活动的想法。四季轮回带来新的花，新的美，新的生活以及赋予新的启示。勇敢坚持信心也能成就美好。野花是美丽的，而不仅仅是因为它的美丽。它不在乎谁欣赏它或视而不见，可能今天在这里，明天就悄悄消逝了，但它仍然张开它的花瓣并向着天空微笑。

我很荣幸在拉萨生活和工作多年。在那段时间里，我尽力在每个星期六徒步旅行，不论阴晴，四季如常。我喜欢夏天的花朵和冬天的冰川。美与我交流，并在内外冲突肆虐时带来宁静。纯粹的花朵让我震惊，每当找到一个新的花朵，我的心就欢乐地跳动。每当我下载到电脑上享受更大的视觉画面，我都会开怀大笑。在我眼里，每一朵花都比上一朵更美丽，使得我不能停下作为探访者的脚步。有一天，当我攀登一座高山时，我在起始点附近发现了一朵小野花。然后，我看到一个高一点的，然后再高一点的，然后甚至更高。每次拍照，我总是会忘怀一切，于是我从一朵花快乐地奔向另一朵花，这时我发现已经站在山顶了。我抬起头，失望山不能更高，不能探寻更多的花朵。

每个季节都是美好的。春天含苞待放的花蕾，然后是夏天野外的美，安静干燥的秋天，极度寒冷的酷冬。在四季之中，夏天是我的最爱。山似乎在音乐中绽放，野花随处可见，在平地上，在岩石下，在溪流边，在巨大岩石的裂缝中。任何住在西藏的人都知道，一旦雨季开始，山脉从黯淡的棕灰色变成明亮的翡绿色。然而大多数人不知道的是，山也因此而成为了拥有着精致的色彩和美丽的高山花园。

现在我又回到了美国居住。生活已然改变，我也有了不同的爱好和职业。然而，我内心很大一部分扎根在西藏。每当春天来临，都会有新的喜悦和希望，我不能忘怀在这个广袤的藏地天空下留给我的娇嫩的野花启示。

SharonMitchell1987年8月来到拉萨，在西藏社科院从事英语教育工作十余载，获得中国政府颁发的“友谊奖”、西藏自治区颁发的“西藏珠峰友谊奖”。

SharonMitchellcametoLhasainAugust1987,intheTibetAcademyofSocialSciencesengagedinmorethantenyearsofEnglisheducation，Awardedthe"FriendshipAward"issuedbytheChinesegovernmentandtheTibetMountEverestFriendshipAwardissuedbytheTibetautonomousregion".

在西藏桃李满园的Sharon视拉萨为第二故乡。教学之余，她喜欢自然，一有时间就独自一人去登山，为那些生长在海拔四五千米高山上的野花拍照。
